Thank you for shopping with Lume Cove Hijab. This Shipping Policy explains how we pack, process, and deliver your hijabs with care, respect, and privacy.

1. Processing Times

All orders are packed and dispatched from Sydney, Australia.

  • Processing time: 1–2 business days

Orders placed during promotions, Eid, Ramadan, or peak holiday seasons may require additional time.

You will receive an order confirmation and a shipping notification once your parcel has been dispatched.

2. Packaging & Privacy

To respect our customers’ privacy, all parcels are shipped in:

  • discreet, unbranded packaging
  • non-transparent satchels
  • without any product names printed on the outside

Hijabs are carefully folded and protected from moisture during transit. We recommend removing the item from its packaging promptly upon delivery to reduce creasing and exposure to humidity.

3. Domestic Shipping (Australia)

We ship within Australia using Australia Post or equivalent trusted carriers.

Estimated delivery times:

  • Standard Shipping: 2–5 business days
  • Express Shipping: 1–3 business days

Delivery times may vary based on your location and seasonal delays.

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on the selected method and delivery address.

4. International Shipping

We ship to selected countries worldwide.

Estimated delivery times:

  • Standard International: 7–15 business days
  • Express International: 4–8 business days

Delays may occur due to customs processing or local carrier issues.

Customs Duties & Taxes

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees imposed by their local authorities. We cannot predict or control these charges.

5. Tracking Your Order

You will receive a tracking number once your parcel has been dispatched. Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking information to update.

6. Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

Customers are responsible for entering the correct shipping address at checkout.

If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address:

  • additional shipping fees may apply to resend the parcel, and
  • we are not responsible for delays caused by the incorrect address.

We cannot change the delivery address once the parcel has been shipped.

7. Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Parcels

Once a parcel has been handed to the carrier, delivery time and transit risks are handled by the carrier. However, we will assist you in contacting the carrier if needed.

If your parcel appears delayed or lost:

  1. Contact the carrier first using your tracking number.
  2. Then email us at info@lumecovehijab.com, and we will do our best to assist.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 3 days of delivery and include clear photos of:

  • the item,
  • the packaging, and
  • the shipping label.

We will review your case and provide an appropriate solution in line with our Refund & Return Policy and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Shipping During Sales or Holidays

During busy periods such as Eid, Ramadan, Christmas, New Year, and major promotions, processing and delivery times may be longer than usual. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
